Located in the Province of Murcia, and is a very special place, sought after by many tourists. La Manga is formed by a narrow strip of land, 24km long, where on one side is the Mar Menor, a saltwater lagoon, and on the other side the Mediterranean Sea.
Many come to La Manga in search of their white sandy beaches, to relax or to take part in sports such as sailing, skiing, windsurfing and scuba diving. In La Manga the fun is guaranteed because they are, on average, 315 days of sunshine per year.
For those who like to hike, La Manga has several routes for walking or cycling. Many of these trails take the visitor to little known beaches, for example, the trail that leaves the Reona Beach and goes to Calblanque.
If you want to spend a few hours contemplating the Mediterranean Sea and savoring the local gastronomy, you should visit Cabo de Palos. Cabo de Palos is a fishing village full of charm, with a beautiful lighthouse as its feature. Sun, friendly people, beaches, lots of watersports and trails makes La Manga a destination sought after by many throughout the year.
